5th Sunday of Lent | A message from Bishop Ruben Saenz Jr.

Jesus tells his followers, “Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains just a single grain; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.” (John 12:24). As Lent draws us closer to the cross, we are reminded that true life comes through surrender. Just as a seed must break open to grow, we, too, must let go of what holds us back to experience the fullness of God’s transforming love. What needs to die in us so that something new can take root? This week, we are invited to trust in the promise that through loss, there is life—and through surrender, there is abundance.
